PEOPLE IN MUSEUMS
Since its birth in March 2013 this long, loud and anarchic night has provided a space for disciplined hedonism and indulgent improvisation of a strictly kaleidoscopic order.
KK invite musicians to perform krautrock songs from CAN, NEU!, FAUST etc LIVE!
There are hundreds of amazing krautrock tunes but we can't just play all the songs and musicians need to know at least basic chord progression of the song.
If you have song in your mind that want to hear live, just post it on this event wall and most 'Liked" song will be performed by finest musicians around in town.
We will play the song in decreasing order of the number of ”Liked" they got.
So..UPLOAD A SONG and 'LIKE' IT!

Please check out their websites for more information on actions, and what they do:

You are invited to the opening launch of Tom Butler’s second book of poetry ‘1 for the Price of 3’.
Comprised of work written over the past three years, Butler’s latest book is the product of a dedicated and abrasive writer, whose distinctive poetic voice has become a regular feature in poetry readings across the capital. “Within those three years, I’ve begun the balding process; I was belched out of the mouldy gooch of the suburbs and into the cesspits and skyscrapers of London; I’ve fell in love and got sad and got happy and drunk beer. The poems in this book discuss this formative stage of my life by exploring a dualistic relationship between the external, physical surroundings I’ve found myself in, and my internal reactions to those realities.”
The book, which is being published by Toothgrinder Press, features not only an immense amount of work from Tom himself (over 100 pages), but also original illustrations, photographs and collages from Rachel Stanley, Ellen Blocksidge and Marta Zenka, who has also designed the book and curated its art direction.
The launch takes place on October 11th at The George Tavern, and will feature readings and performances from:

Monzanto Sound, 3Peace and deathcrash are all playing a show together at The George Tavern on Tuesday 9th October. £4 OTD
Monzanto Sound - https://vimeo.com/274256662
"Monzanto Sound is a Krautrock/noise project where 90s Warp Electronica meets hard UK beats. Their organic, improvised approach uses the form of dance music and puts it in the hands of the psychedelic. Influenced by breakbeat, techno and Can, Monzanto generate a ghostly, hypnotic atmosphere with their sound."
'3peace fuse the textures and weight of electronic music with the harmony and improvisation of jazz - once described as a meeting point between Drexciya's electro constructions and Marc Moulin's group Placebo. Drawing equally from breaks, fusion and free-jazz as from acid, ambient and beyond, the trio embark on shape-shifting and dance-ready excursions into the liminal spaces between musical axes.'
LDN trio - Nat Philipps, Pike Ogilvy, Sam Bates
deathcrash used to be called NÜT.
