That's right gringos and gringitas, it's that (most won-der-ful) time of the year again...the Xmas leggings are on the fireplace a-warming up, the mulled tequila is on its way and the LADvent calendar will be here before you know it.
We'll be playing all the usual Xmas bangers and maybe some new ones too - although we probably won’t have learnt the chords/words by then so they’ll be played at the usual impeccable/imbecile standard.
It'll be £5 to get in, all in aid of raising money for charity, so come on down and let's get seasonally silly together.

Concerned for the well-being of people and planet and no longer prepared to wait for Government to wake up, they have been inspiring and mobilising the public, organising a series of actions and protests under the name, EXTINCTION REBELLION, that will be taking place throughout November in hope to get voices heard.
Please check out their websites for more information on actions, and what they do:

Since its birth in March 2013 this long, loud and anarchic night has provided a space for disciplined hedonism and indulgent improvisation of a strictly kaleidoscopic order.
KK invite musicians to perform krautrock songs from CAN, NEU!, FAUST etc LIVE!
There are hundreds of amazing krautrock tunes but we can't just play all the songs and musicians need to know at least basic chord progression of the song.
If you have song in your mind that want to hear live, just post it on this event wall and most 'Liked" song will be performed by finest musicians around in town.
We will play the song in decreasing order of the number of ”Liked" they got.
So..UPLOAD A SONG and 'LIKE' IT!

PEOPLE IN MUSEUMS
It's been a while in the making but we - that's me, Dzifa Benson and Culturised Magazine - are so thrilled that our night (hopefully the first of a regular series), A Portrait of the Artist is finally imminent. It's dedicated to words and art in all modes of performance at the iconic The George Tavern.
We were keen to bring together artists of different stripes on the same bill..... in a night that features poets, perforrmance artists, singers, musicians, theatre makers, comic absurdists and artists who are not easily categorisable.... and by heck, we think we're about to do it!
And with our "Work-in-Progress" section, there's space for artists to try out something that's been worked on but isn't quite the finished product that could use a bit of friendly audience feedback. I'll be your host for this exciting line-up of artists. Come join us!
After a long time away we reignite our love affair with The Toilers! Featuring live music from -
The Non Stick Pan
Followed by sets from DJ Danso and What's His Face till the wee hours. All for FREE ENTRY
Come down, shake a tail feather and get dirty.
