Location Hire
The George Tavern offers beautiful, character spaces available for location work. Recent shoots include the The Netflix Original Series 'Sense 8', Sally Potter film; Ginger & Rosa, MTV Bang, Plan B's film 'Ill Manors', Channel 4's Morgana Show as well as individual shoots with the likes of Kate Moss, Grandmaster Flash, Tom Daley, Georgia May Jagger, Tilda Swinton, Justin Timberlake, Adrien Brody, Grace Jones, Dizzie Rascal and Nick Cave.
The George offers a range of charming rooms including a large attic space, studios, bedrooms and a country kitchen.

The Attic
Located within the roof of the building, the attic is a striking bedroom space; both bohemian and beautiful. Containing many features including bare beams, wooden floors and a startling natural light.

The Kitchen
A traditional and rustic space, featuring a restored aga and numerous Victorian furnishings. Utilising west facing windows, the room is spacious and bright with a striking charm.

The White Rooms
The largest spaces in the building, the white rooms boast an elegance that transfer to many purposes, 18 foot high ceilings and plenty of room allows for many shoot concepts to materialise easily.

The Studio
A long studio room with natural light from two sides, brickwork fireplace, and a fantastic view of the city. Full of character, a large open space to work with.

Staircases & Corridors
Numerous rustic corridors and stairwells join the rooms, all of which are available and have been used as backdrops for a range of shoots and film work.
The Library
With plenty of notable features, the library room contains a wealth of trinkets and textures. The space also boasts large windows for excellent natural light.

The Bar
Framed by 600 year old original tiles. The George Tavern’s bar is obviously a key feature within the building. Used extensively for both location and as a thriving music venue, the bar wields an individual charm.
